Rules for the SoX_ng project

The "master copy" of the sox_ng codebase, if there is such a thing, lives on Codeberg.

You can browse it online at codeberg.org/sox_ng/sox_ng and fetch a copy by

git clone https://codeberg.org/sox_ng/sox_ng

If you need to migrate the repository instead of forking or cloning it, you can use sox_ng's everything-read-only access token:

If you have write access to the repository, try not to make forced pushes ("rewriting history") unless you are very quick (a few minutes) or if you are working on a branch that probably only you are interested in. Otherwise it creates pointless and frustrating surprise work for anyone who has a clone of it.

There are no other rules except for the GPL and, when modifying the code, to follow the existing style in its bizarre formatting and dense grammar.
